- Lead market access strategy: Design and implement national and local access plans for your therapeutic portfolio that secure reimbursement, funding and favorable placement in clinical pathways.
- Own access projects end-to-end: Translate business priorities into actionable projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive timely delivery.
- Advocate with influence: Build trusted relationships with payers, HTA bodies, hospital decision‑makers and professional associations to shape access conversations and decisions.
- Turn data into decisions: Use epidemiology, clinical evidence, cost‑utility and budget‑impact analyses to make compelling economic and clinical value cases.
- Shape pricing strategy: Lead local pricing recommendations, ensure regulatory and corporate alignment, manage the internal approval process and present pricing dossiers to authorities.
- Monitor the environment: Proactively scan policy, legal and market changes, identify threats and opportunities, and keep stakeholders informed so the organization can respond fast.
- Find creative funding routes: Analyse alternative funding or procurement mechanisms to broaden access options.
- Manage budgets and resources: Oversee local market access project budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation and high-quality deliverables.
- Reimbursement submissions accepted and products launched with secured funding.
- Positive shifts in treatment guidelines or formularies for assigned therapeutic areas.
- Trusted relationships with key decision‑makers and clear recognition of your value-based arguments.
- Robust, timely analyses that guide strategic pricing and access decisions.
- University degree in business, health economics, pharmacy, medicine, public health, life sciences or related field.
- 2–3+ years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector with hands-on market access, pricing, HEOR or reimbursement experience.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills — confident with epidemiology, budget‑impact and cost‑effectiveness methods.
- Practical experience preparing reimbursement dossiers, pricing proposals or HTA submissions.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills — able to influence senior stakeholders and payers.
- Skilled at translating complex clinical and economic evidence into clear, persuasive messages.
- Proven relationship-builder with external stakeholders (KOLs, authorities, professional bodies).
- Solid knowledge of the Romanian healthcare system (legislation, financing, reimbursement and public procurement).
- Fluent Romanian and advanced English (written and spoken).
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manages multiple priorities effectively.
