#VOIS #BeUnrivalled #CreateTheFutureAbout this RoleWe are seeking a GCP Solution Architect to take full ownership of Google Cloud solutions across the Data & Analytics ecosystem. The individual will define solution architectures, guide engineering teams, and ensure that cloud implementations align with enterprise security, scalability, governance, and cost-efficiency standards. This hybrid Bucharest-based role requires close collaboration with technical, security, platform, and FinOps stakeholders to shape how GCP is adopted across the organisation.What you will do
  • Own the architecture and technical direction of GCP-based solutions.
  • Define, document, and enforce cloud patterns, standards, and best practices.
  • Act as the technical authority for architectural and design decisions related to GCP.
  • Ensure cloud solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform, security, and FinOps teams to ensure cohesion across technical deliveries.
  • Review technical designs and provide architectural governance and guidance.
  • Mentor delivery teams to build capability and ensure architectural alignment.
Who you are
  • Experienced GCP Cloud or Solution Architect with strong hands-on background.
  • Solid understanding of core GCP services, IAM, networking, and cloud security practices.
  • Skilled in designing scalable, production-grade cloud architectures.
  • Able to translate business requirements into resilient technical solutions.
  • Strong communicator with effective stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advantageous if you bring experience with:
  • Data and analytics platforms (BigQuery, Looker)
  • DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CI/CD)
  • FinOps or cloud cost optimisation
  • GCP certifications
  • TOGAF
