This position offers you the chance to contribute to impactful projects while developing your expertise in data management.What you’ll do at fme Romania:As a key contributor in our engineering team, you will:

Build modern, high-performance frontend, backend & data solutions for both internal products and international clients
Take ownership of technical design decisions and actively contribute to architectural discussions
Translate UI/UX concepts into robust, scalable implementations
Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability
Act as a mentor and technical guide for junior colleagues, supporting their growth
Continuously improve and contribute to engineering standards, processes, and best practices

RequirementsWe’re seeking someone who combines strong technical expertise with independence and a proactive mindset:

Solid understanding of UI principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards
5+ years of hands-on experience with:

React
Node.js
TypeScript
Python / Django
Strong knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3
Good understanding of modern UI/UX principles
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and workflows
Experience working in Agile environments
Proven ability to mentor or support other developers
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

Nice to have

Experience with relational databases (design & optimization)
UX design skills or awareness
Experience with Microsoft Data Fabric
Familiarity with Material-UI
Experience with Next.js (strong advantage)
German language skills (written and spoken)
