- Collects and analyses customer's orders.
- Finds the right solutions in a timely manner.
- Calculates rates, routes and transit times.
- Stays in a continuous dialogue with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
- Organises the transports in the best manner for the company and client.
- Follows up ongoing transports, making sure the delivery is made on time and all problems are solved with promptitude.
- Updates customer regularly.
- Negotiates and buys transport services with the best quality/gain-ratio.
- Insures the relation and the information flow from and to the carriers/drivers.
- Manages the reporting and KPI`s of his/her activity.
- Manages the relation with suppliers/providers in a spirit of long-term collaboration and confidence-building.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience on a similar position, in a freight forwarding or transportation company, or in a transport/logistics department.
- Experience on non-EU countries transportation and customs clearance procedures could be an advantage;
- Experience in working with different TMS (own system and/or client`s dedicated systems/Transport Management System (TMS), Track and Trace, other IT systems);
- Highly customer-oriented (internal and external);
- Knowledge of the freight transport market.
- Experience in working with big industrial customers.
- Abilities of communication and negotiations.
- Autonomy, organization, precision, logic and rigor.
- Agility and flexibility, team spirit and mutual support, initiative and proactivity.
- Fluency in English, any other foreign language can be an advantage.
