- Lead the SHEQ & BCM team and oversee all SHEQ activities on the site
- Ensure full compliance with local legislation, DHL standards, and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001.
- Act as the main liaison with external authorities and auditors.
- Plan and execute internal audits; support external audits.
- Monitor SHEQ-related legislation and ensure timely implementation of all requirements.
- Drive corporate SHEQ initiatives (e.g., new Quality approach, H&S application).
- Maintain all SHEQ documentation and ensure accessibility
- Embed SHEQ and ISO principles into operational processes in line with DHL standards.
- Lead Quality Assessment Processes (QAPs) and drive problem‑solving through CAPA.
- Strengthen a behavior-based safety culture and build service excellence and cost awareness.
- Provide guidance to site management and employees on all SHEQ matters.
- Chair site SHEQ committees as needed.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc SHEQ reports and metrics.
- Identify training needs and ensure delivery of all SHEQ-related trainings and inductions.
- Support customer projects, site development plans, and improvement initiatives.
- Represent the function during customer events where SHEQ expertise is needed.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE and BCM, including internal auditing of Integrated Management Systems.
- Engineering degree and certified occupational risk assessor course.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Romanian.
- Strong knowledge of Romanian legislation relevant to HSE and BCM.
- Deep understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).
- Active B-category driving license.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Pragmatic and solution‑oriented approach to problem solving.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels.
